Dayenne Gomes
anxiety and stress coach

about myself
My story – from fear to strength
My name is Dayenne Gomes, I am 38 years old and live just across the border near the town of Dinxperlo.
As a true animal lover, I have been connected to horses my entire life – they are my passion, my strength, my everything. As a rider, I competed professionally for many years and lived for the sport.
Until my life suddenly changed in 2014.
That first panic attack came out of nowhere and left a trail of fear in its wake. What followed were countless attacks and eventually an anxiety disorder that completely took over my life. I no longer dared to go out alone, trapped in my own head – in a web from which I saw no way out.
I spoke with psychologists for hours. That helped, a little. I learned to cope with it, but the feeling remained. And I didn't want to learn to live with that fear – I wanted to get rid of it!
Yet, I remained silent for a long time. I was ashamed. Behind cheerful excuses, I hid what was really going on. The spontaneous, lively woman I once was slowly transformed into someone who no longer even dared to enter the supermarket.
I once traveled the world alone. Now, a short drive to the next village felt like an insurmountable task.
But I didn't give up. Instead of running away, I decided to tackle the root cause of my anxiety. Step by step, I started moving forward again. My interest in how the brain works grew, and I started studying; I subsequently graduated as an anxiety and stress coach. I found a method that allowed my fears to leave my life quickly. I can proudly say that I am free from panic attacks!
There have been so many moments when I thought recovery was impossible.
But with patience, willpower, and calm, my life has also come back into balance.
And I wish this for everyone! Because I know very well what it feels like to live with anxiety, and also how to overcome it, I know that I can help you through my studies and methods!
I am your proof that you can lead a stress- and anxiety-free life.
